Herman Maes

We are proud to represent a Belgian contemporary artist. Herman Maes (1959, Kinshasa) lives and works in London, UK. His work is present in several important collections, such as the Royal Museum of Fine Arts (Brussels), the Ludwig collection (Cologne), the S.M.A.K. (Ghent) and the Verbeke Foundation.

Although the artist’s oeuvre is continually evolving, all of his works, from the seventies to today, are imbued with a clear personal vision and signature style, which we consider the true markings of a great artist. His series of flower still life paintings from a vibrant an colorful example of his lyrical abstract style. Please visit his website for more of his work.
